I get almost the same vibe from Harts Tongue Fern. In fact, I assumed that's what you were talking about until I saw the picture.

That's so interesting to me -- and reaffirming. I believe this, Staghorn Fern, is the first fern I have spoken to, and so I wasn't sure what to expect. Each plant has its own language, but plants seem also to have regions or dialects to their language, meaning trees have a certain tone, as do flowers, and also . . . ferns. A friend of mine, Bert Bernier, drew my attention to how ferns can often have this lightness to them in appearance but often the leaves will hang down as if too heavy to stand tall. There seems to be this dance between being light and being heavy.
